Kaunas Biennial

Recently there was an amazing artistic event in Kaunas, Lithuania known as Kaunas Biennial from September 13th till September 15th, 2013. Here are few of the amazing pics taken by people at exhibition.

But guess what, you still not late, you can visit further events in later dates. Some of the events you can still attend are:

1. Know your Family

Every weekend of October and November, from 12 pm to 4 pm, in Kaunas Picture Gallery and M. Žilinskas Gallery the visitors can attend workshops designed for families – for the young and the senior art lovers.  Families will also be offered special weekend tours that focus on a different, unconventional artistic learning. Tours were developed by the educators of Kaunas Biennial and the participants of Emerging Artists’ project.

2. Learn with Kaunas Biennial

On every Wednesday of October and November, we invite teachers and their pupils to study biology, chemistry, music, physics, etc. at Kaunas Biennial exhibitions. “Learn with Kaunas Biennial” is an alternative way to learn various school subjects. The programme was prepared by the educators of Kaunas Biennial in collaboration with artists, S. Nėris Secondary School teachers and teachers of other Kaunas’ schools. 3. Know the Artist, Learn with the Artist

You will also have an opportunity to meet artists in person and talk to them. On September 15, October 10, 13, 20, 24, 31, and November 7, 10, 14, 16, 21, 23, 28 the meetings with artists, critics and curators will be held.
