Top 5 Design Shops in Vilnius, Lithuania

So Today i am starting a new series of design shops in major cities around the world. Also, today marks one year of this blog and thanks to all for visiting, commenting and sharing ideas. We will be more focused to make your home more beautiful, be more inspired by informing you about design events across the world and stay up to date with latest design trends across the world.

1. De Žavu Vintage Boutique

Clothes, shoes, jewellery and other once beloved items end up at this second-hand boutique. Everything is usually carefully selected, in good shape and fairly priced. You’ll fall in love with this place the minute you enter and find that one special thing you were longing for. Second-hand boutiques are really popular in Vilnius and De’Žavu is one of the best.

2. Blusturgis

If you enjoy hunting for truly original things, then Blusturgis is your kind of place. It’s located in a cosy courtyard in the middle of the Old Town during the warmer months, and a little bit further out during the colder seasons. You can expect to find everything from clothes and kittens to old school Soviet souvenirs and fresh cups of coffee. The prices are quite reasonable although bargaining is encouraged.

3. Le Muse

Slowly but steadily more and more Lithuanian designers prove their skills. It’s worth mentioning that locals prefer to buy things made in Lithuania, if they have the choice of course. And now we have Le Muse – a shop for high quality fashionable clothes made right here in Lithuania.

Situated in a local creative neighbourhood, this shop brings works by local designers into the spotlight. Their clothes make women feel beautiful from the inside out.

Le Muse

4. Rudninku Knygynas

Apart from stocking loads of creative publications (art, fashion, design, graphics etc.), Rudninku also hosts occasional art exhibitions and has a great selection of vinyl records. You can even choose a record and ask the sales assistant to play it while you browse!

It’s a great place, especially if you’re picky about what you read and listen to. They even sell cool postcards and craftwork by local artists.

5. Visokių daiktų krautuvėlė

It is beautiful, because things that you can by in the shop are truly beautiful. All kinds of things are available here which you really love to own: vintage postcards, antique maps, smaller and bigger music boxes, hand crafted Christmas tree glass decorations, pieces of antique art, antique cash registers, handmade jewelry, toys, exquisite niche brand perfumes, such as Agonist, Krigler, Isabey, Carner Barcelona (and other names).
