So weekend is about to end so what to do next week ahead? Here is list of some must see events for your inspiration for week ahead.

1. Light + Building: 30 March- 4 April in Frankfurt am Main, Germany

Known as the World’s biggest trade fair for lighting and building, this major gathering in Frankfurt am Main, Germany has around 2300 exhibitors each year and over 196,000 visitors from outside Germany alone. Light + Building is the place to be if you are interested in the evolution of the relationship between people and light, as well as in smart powered buildings and intelligent sustainability.

2. Milan Furniture Fair: 8-13 April in Milan, Italy

Milan Furniture Fair has a history dating back to 1961, when the Salone del Mobile first opened its doors to promote Italian furniture and furnishing accessories for the export market. The 2013 edition of the event gathered 285,698 trade operators (more than half of them participating from different countries), over 38,000 members of the general public and 6,578 members of the press. Visiting the city during the furniture fair in the beginning of April will grant you the chance to see a vibrant Milan, with many decorated streets and interesting exhibition venues throughout. It goes without saying you should book your hotel weeks in advance.

3. Materials & Applications: Building Something (Beyond) Beautiful, Projects 2002-2013

Building Something (Beyond) Beautiful, Projects 2002-2013, on view January 25 through April 13, 2014 at the University Art Museum at CSU Long Beach, surveys the last 11 years of landscape and architecture experiments at Materials & Applications.

The exhibition features some of the most active names in California architecture, including Benjamin Ball and Gaston Nogues; Marcelo Spina; Oyler Wu Collaborative (Dwayne Oyler and Jenny Wu); Jimenez Lai; Rob Ley; Doris Sung, with Ingalill Wahlroos-Ritter and Matthew Melnyk; Gail Peter Borden; Layer (Lisa Little and Emily White); FoxLin (Michael Fox and Juintow Lin), NONDesigns (Scott Franklin and Miao Miao)and Brand Name Label (Gabriel Renz), Axel Kilian, and Darius Miller; Jenna Didier with Ian Quezada and Daniel Ash; Anja Franke, John Southern, and Nick Blake; Edmund Ming-Yip Kwong; Eddy Sykes; Workshop LEVITAS and Didier Hess.
